Introduction

Hello, my name is Kaylah and I just want to share my life and times with you via the written word. This blog and its posts will be dedicated to what interests me: fashion, food, hair, travelling, God, and crafting. It’s been on my heart to start this blog for a while, and it's something I knew God wanted me to pursue, but between high school and my other obligations, it just didn’t happen. Now, I have graduated from high school, and I am going through a period of review, reassess, and rearrange.  There were some things that I naively thought were of the utmost importance in high school, and allowed those frivolous wastes of time to crowd out all of the other important things in my life that I should have been focusing on. This blog is one of those items which I managed to disregard whilst in high school. But now I’m out, and I am determined to make sure I spend my time doing what is worth doing.

Writing has always been my passion. Since I was a little girl and could read, I would devour books and then set to work on my own stories, employing certain techniques from my favorite books in my own stories. In high school I learned about the art of essay writing, and didn’t learn true article writing until my senior year. However, having perfected (sort of, not really) the essay, and holding an understanding of effective article writing, it brings me to this place of blog-writing, which I feel is a perfect mixture of the two. Therefore, I am very excited to be able to start this blog, it will be therapeutic and enjoyable for me to do. Stay tuned, because I will be documenting my slightly crazy life. With an MLS player in the household, and a mother that’s always on the go, there's lots to talk about.
